Recycling Equipment, Inc. (REI) is proud to once again sponsor the REI Charity Golf Classic, returning for its 9th year on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the beautiful Catawba Country Club in Newton, North Carolina.
Each year, this event brings together our valued customers, vendors, and industry partners like supporter Quincy Recycling, for a day of camaraderie, giving, and unforgettable fun, all in support of an important local cause: Sipe’s Orchard Home and their Transitional Living Program, which serves youth right here in the Catawba Valley region.
A Cause That Matters: Supporting Sipe’s Orchard Home
Founded over 80 years ago, Sipe’s Orchard Home provides supportive housing and transitional care for youth in crisis, particularly teens who are aging out of foster care or who lack stable living conditions. Through counseling, education support, and life skills development, Sipe’s gives these young people the tools they need to transition into successful, independent adulthood.
REI has been a proud supporter of Sipe’s for many years, and the Charity Golf Classic has become our largest annual fundraising initiative. Since the event began, we’ve collectively raised over $85,000, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the youth and programs at Sipe’s Orchard Home.
Our 2024 tournament raised over $30,000, and this year, we’re aiming even higher with a goal of $35,000 to help even more kids in need.
