EATS 2025 in Chicago is officially in the books, and what an incredible event it was for the entire REI team. This year’s show highlighted our continued partnership and strong collaboration with Strautmann, as we worked together to showcase innovative solutions for the beverage recycling and waste-reduction industry.
Our booth (#3415), lead by Drew Ramsey, saw steady traffic throughout the show, giving attendees an up-close look at how REI and Strautmann are helping facilities improve efficiency, reduce waste volume, and modernize their recycling workflows.
One of the highlights on display was Strautmann’s LiquiDrainer® Dewatering System, a compact screw-press unit designed to separate liquids from aluminum, PET, TetraPak, and other beverage containers, an impressive piece of technology that continues to make a meaningful impact across the industry.
From setup to closing day, the event was a success. Our team had the opportunity to meet with longtime partners, connect with new clients, and dive into discussions about where the recycling and waste-handling industry is heading in 2026 and beyond.
The energy on the show floor was noticeable, and it’s clear that demand for better recycling technologies, and smarter, more efficient systems is higher than ever.
As always, the best part of the event was the people. We’re grateful for every conversation, every handshake, and every opportunity to share what REI stands for: Dependable service, engineered solutions, and genuine partnership.
A special thank-you to the Strautmann team for their incredible support and collaboration throughout the event.
EATS 2025 once again reminded us why we love this industry, and why we’re committed to continuing to raise the standard for performance, safety, and innovation in recycling equipment.
Here’s to another successful show. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2026!
