VERTICAL BALERS

Recyclables can be condensed into compact, easily manageable bales using standard models or custom balers from REI. Safety and ease of use are the benchmarks for our equipment. All balers are designed to meet the different capacity and space constraints of businesses, ranging from national retail organizations to manufacturing facilities. Custom sizes and colors are also available as needed.

These Vertical Balers are designed for use in retail stores, manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers or any location producing recyclable waste materials.

For high capacity requirements, models are available with compact forces over 150,000 lbs. that can produce bale weights in excess of 1,400 lbs of cardboard and 2,000 lbs of non-ferrous metal.

Exceptional Manufacturing Processes
Our design utilizes a proven quality process for production of our baler frame and platen structure. The press head, floor, bridge beam, cylinder mount and common pinch points are crucial areas where heavy-duty steel reinforcement is implemented. All metal-on-metal contact areas are lined with replaceable UHMW wear strips. Fixture-welded components also ensure the tightest tolerances in the industry and allows for direct replacement of components in the field.

The fastest cycle times in the industry are made possible due to our low maintenance electrical and hydraulic configurations. This reduces overall strain on components and extends machine life. All of our balers are ETL certified and meet or exceed all ANSI Z245.5, and OSHA safety standards.
